Make Nightfall armor contain stats, and THEN allow us to modifie them with insignia.
I know this has been posted a few times by others, but I havent noticed anyone point out a simply way to solve the whole insignai thing.
I like the idea of insignia's, so dont misunderstand me.
But I dont like that when you craft armor, the armor is like a blank slate from the start.
I propose we keep the tyrian and canthan idea of having armor contain stats when their crafted. THEN if you wish to change it with insignia's you can later on.
Why?
Because if your paying 15k + material costs + dye costs for armor already.
You dont want to have to pay in access of 1-2k on top of that for an expensive insignia rune.
Although...
I do understand why they made crafted armor clean.
Basically to cut down on the amount of armor they have to display at the armor traders. So you have a short 5 piece list, instead of a long 20+ one.
And to make all profession armor require the same materials, as apose to different materials for different stat armor.
Thats all a good thing.
But I would personally rather have a long list of 20+ armor to choose from, pre-made with stats, then having to pay extra gold for the insignia after.
Im not saying all this because Im unable to make gold.
I have 3 characters and 4 x 15k armors amoung them, and I work hard for my gold.
But when you have worked your bum off and then find you have to pay more, its a bit annoying.
So give us pre-insigniad armor and THEN let us choose to modifiy them .

Or, they could have the short 5 piece list, then when you select the armour, another screen asking what stat you want on it out of a.. well.. stat list.

Farming, farming, farming and more farming.
No, seriously...
...you just have to pick up EVERYTHING, and then ID it (if needed) and sell it to the traders. The gold soon builds up.
But thats alot easier said then done, when you already have a few complete characters behind you, I realise.
And your running around an areas where the drops tend to be around 80-200g each when sold to the merchant.
But you occassionally come accross Greens or rare skins or other items, and stash them until you need a huge gold rush.
Then stand in LA or Droks or somewhere for hours going...
"WTS"....."WTS"... "For the love of god im WTS!!!!".
Im sitting on two white dyes and saving up for more to dye my 15k ranger luxon armor white :P.

/notsigned.
might not even add in insignias at all if that's what you want. Personally, I love insignias. I sell the ones I don't want/need (woot, made 5k already today off of random ID's) and have gotten most of the ones on my current armor, no, scratch that, all of the ones on my current armor (4/5 pieces insig'ed) from farming. It's not that hard to acquire them.

Or they could just have 1 standard type of insignias already on them and let you change them later instead of 20 different types on the list.

Give us a few armour bonuses to choose from, please.
And be able to overrite them after.
Insignias are expensive, i realised i should have got the +10 whilst ench for my dervish than the +5 with 1, +10 with 3.. 3?! damn. Im not poor, to most people, i have 230k ATM, plenty, just built in armour worked before.. why not compliment it with insignias?
P.S
The dervish has 2 insignias, paragon has 1. WTF?

There are ample uni-class inscriptions to suit anybody feeling the "not-enough-inscriptions-per-proff" needs. Radiant/survivor and all those other patchwork-looking ones are some, just to start.

Which, I might add, are the most expensive of all...
